Senior Food Box Distribution
Supplementing Senior Diets with Nutritious Food
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program works to improve the health of low-income households by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA Foods. Food boxes are delivered to Giles County on the third Monday of each month. Applications for Senior Food Boxes are available at the Giles County Christian Service Mission. One must be at least 60 years old and have $1,632 or less in monthly income to qualify for a food box. Around 80 boxes are distributed in Giles monthly.
